Earn 60,000 American Airlines with a single purchase!
The AAdvantage Aviator Red World Elite Mastercard by Barclays currently has a sign up offer to earn 60,000 American Airlines AAdvantage Miles after making a single purchase on the card of any amount and paying the annual fee of $99 after approval. This is enough miles to book a one way business class ticket from the US to Europe. A business class flight cost as few as 57.5k miles from the US to Europe.
Some examples I recently looked up include:
- If you want to visit France: LAX to CDG direct on Air Tahiti Nui for 57,500 AA miles and $5.60 taxes on 3/8/25
- If you want to visit Spain: CLT to MAD direct on American for 62,000 AA miles and $5.60 taxes on 2/25/25
- If you want to visit Ireland: TYS to CLT to DUB on American for 62,000 AA miles and $5.60 taxes on 3/31/25
These are just several examples of numerous ones I could have chosen. The ability to sign up one card, make one purchase, and then book a lay flat business class flight is incredible.

Currently American Airlines has credit cards offered by both Citi and Barclays. American Airlines has announced that in 2026, Citi will be the exclusive credit card partner of AA. So this is the last year to be able to cash in on this offer for the Barclays card.
